📅 Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad

Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Meet and greet by our representative. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Rest and recover. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 2 – Flight to Skardu

Morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu (approximately 1 hour). Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Free day to relax and explore Skardu town. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Day 3 – Skardu Sightseeing & Acclimatization

Visit the historic Kharpocho Fort overlooking Skardu. Excursion to the beautiful Sadpara Lake. Free time to explore Skardu Bazaar. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Day 4 – Jeep Drive to Askole Village

Scenic jeep safari through Shigar Valley toward Askole. Follow the Braldu River along a dramatic mountain road. Arrival at Askole Village (3,010m) – the last settlement before the Baltoro Glacier. Overnight camping in Askole.

Day 5 – Trek from Askole to Jhola

Begin trekking along the Braldu River valley. Cross small streams and rugged mountain trails. Lunch stop near Korofon River. Continue trekking to Jhola Camp (3,100m). Distance: 20 km, Time: 5–8 hours. Overnight stay at campsite.

Day 6 – Trek from Jhola to Paiju

Follow the Braldu River gorge. Enjoy spectacular views of Trango Towers and Cathedral Peak. Several glacier streams may require crossing depending on water levels. Reach Paiju Camp (3,420m). Distance: 19.8 km, Time: 6–7 hours. Overnight stay at campsite.

Day 7 – Acclimatization Day at Paiju

Rest day for acclimatization. Short hike toward Paiju Peak base camp. Explore the surrounding area and prepare for trekking on Baltoro Glacier. Overnight stay at Paiju Camp.

Day 8 – Trek from Paiju to Khoburtse

Begin trekking on the Baltoro Glacier. Enjoy stunning views of Trango Tower and Uli Biaho Peaks. Trek across glacier terrain and rocky paths. Camp at Khoburtse (3,788m) beside the glacier. Distance: 14.7 km, Time: 5–7 hours.

Day 9 – Trek to Urdukas

Continue trekking along the Baltoro Glacier. Pass small glaciers and enjoy views of the Trango Towers. Camp at Urdukas (3,910m) near the army campsite. Distance: 6.4 km, Time: 4–6 hours.

Day 10 – Trek to Goro II

Trek deeper into the Baltoro Glacier region. Enjoy spectacular views of Masherbrum, Gasherbrum IV, and Muztagh Tower. Camp on the glacier at Goro II (4,290m). Distance: 12 km, Time: 6–8 hours.

Day 11 – Trek to Concordia

Continue trekking along the Baltoro Glacier. Witness Broad Peak and other massive Karakoram peaks. Arrive at Concordia (4,500m) – one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the world surrounded by four 8,000m peaks. Distance: 11.7 km, Time: 5–7 hours. Overnight camping at Concordia.

Day 12 – K2 Base Camp Excursion

Early morning trek toward Broad Peak Base Camp. Continue to K2 Base Camp (5,100m). Visit the Gilkey Memorial if time permits. Return to Concordia for overnight stay.

Day 13 – Trek to Ali Camp

Begin trekking toward Gondogoro La via a less-traveled route. Cross glacier terrain with crevasses and ice formations. Camp at Ali Camp (4,800m) near the junction of Baltoro and Vigne Glaciers. Practice rope techniques for the Gondogoro La crossing. Distance: 12.1 km, Time: 5–6 hours.

Day 14 – Cross Gondogoro La Pass

Early morning ascent toward Gondogoro La (5,585m) using fixed ropes. Spectacular panoramic views of K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, and Laila Peak. Descend into Hushe Valley. Camp at Khuispang (4,600m). Distance: 8.1 km, Time: 9–12 hours.

Day 15 – Trek to Saicho

Continue trekking through the beautiful Gondogoro Valley. Pass shepherd settlements and alpine pastures. Camp at Saicho (3,350m). Distance: 11.9 km, Time: 5–6 hours.

Day 16 – Trek to Hushe & Drive to Skardu

Short trek to Hushe Village. Drive through Khaplu Valley back to Skardu. Hotel check-in and rest after the expedition. Distance: 7.2 km trekking, Time: 3–4 hours. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Day 17 – Rest Day in Skardu

Reserved day for possible trek delays due to weather or route conditions. Optional sightseeing in Skardu. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Day 18 – Flight to Islamabad

Transfer to Skardu Airport. Flight to Islamabad. Hotel transfer and rest. Note: In case of flight cancellation due to weather, the group will travel by road to Chilas.

Day 19 – Free Day in Islamabad

Reserved day in case of travel delays. If flights operate normally, enjoy a free day to explore Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 20 – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your departure flight.
