📅 Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad

Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Airport transfer to hotel. Hotel check-in. Rest and recovery. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 2 – Fly to Skardu

Morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu (approx. 1 hour). Transfer to hotel. Free day for trek preparation. Overnight in Skardu.

Day 3 – Skardu Exploration (2,228m)

Visit Kharpocho Fort. Visit Sadpara Lake. Free time at Skardu Bazaar. Overnight in Skardu.

Day 4 – Jeep Safari to Askole (3,010m)

6–8 hour jeep drive via Shigar Valley. Travel along Braldu River. Arrival at Askole (last village before trek). Overnight camping.

Day 5 – Trek: Askole to Jhola (3,100m)

Distance: 20 km | 5–8 hours. Cross Korofon River. Trek along Braldu River. Camp at Jhola.

Day 6 – Trek: Jhola to Paiju (3,420m)

Distance: 19.8 km | 6–7 hours. Views of Trango Towers and Cathedral Peak. Camp at Paiju.

Day 7 – Rest Day at Paiju

Acclimatization day. Optional short hike. Overnight at Paiju.

Day 8 – Trek: Paiju to Khoburtse (3,788m)

Distance: 14.7 km | 5–7 hours. Trek onto Baltoro Glacier. Camp at Khoburtse.

Day 9 – Trek: Khoburtse to Urdukas (3,910m)

Distance: 6.4 km | 4–6 hours. Camp near Urdukas.

Day 10 – Trek: Urdukas to Goro II (4,290m)

Distance: 12 km | 6–8 hours. Views of Masherbrum and Gasherbrum IV. Camp at Goro II.

Day 11 – Trek: Goro II to Concordia (4,512m)

Distance: 11.7 km | 5–7 hours. Arrival at Concordia. Views of four 8,000m peaks. Overnight camping.

Day 12 – K2 & Broad Peak Base Camps (5,100m)

Early departure via Godwin-Austen Glacier. Visit Broad Peak Base Camp. Continue to K2 Base Camp. Optional visit to Gilkey Memorial. Return to Concordia. Overnight camping.

Day 13 – Rest Day at Concordia

Rest and acclimatization. Overnight camping.

Day 14 – Trek to Shahring

Full-day trek. Overnight camping.

Day 15 – Trek to Gasherbrum I & II Base Camps

Visit both base camps. Opportunity to meet climbing teams. Overnight camping.

Day 16 – Return to Concordia

Full-day trek back. Overnight camping.

Day 17 – Trek to Ali Camp

Technical glacier terrain. Preparation for Gondogoro La crossing. Overnight at Ali Camp.

Day 18 – Cross Gondogoro La (5,585m) – Trek to Khuispang

Early morning start (approx. 2:00 AM). Roped glacier crossing. Panoramic views of K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II. Descend to Khuispang. Overnight camping.

Day 19 – Trek to Saicho (3,350m)

Descent through Hushe Valley. Easier terrain. Overnight camping.

Day 20 – Trek to Hushe

3–4 hour trek. Explore Hushe village. Transfer to Skardu. Overnight in Skardu.

Day 21 – Rest Day in Skardu

Buffer day for delays. Optional sightseeing. Overnight in Skardu.

Day 22 – Fly to Islamabad

Flight from Skardu to Islamabad. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Islamabad. (If flight canceled: drive to Chilas)

Day 23 – Contingency Day

Reserved for flight delays. Travel by road if required. Overnight in Islamabad.

Day 24 – Departure

Airport transfer. Fly back to home country.
